Patrick S. Monnier

Patrick joined Sofinnova Partners as a Senior Associate in the Investor Relations team in April 2024.

Previously, Patrick led Project Management deal teams and ESG efforts at Capstone Partners - A Mizuho Company. Covering numerous strategies globally, he oversaw the preparation of fundraising processes, quantitative analyses and client reporting. He was also responsible for monitoring current and prospective fund managers' performance. Prior to that, he worked at the Pictet Group, supporting the product management team with discretionary mandates, competitive analysis, quantitative research, business plans, and GIPS documentation.

Committed to conducting business with integrity and accountability, he is passionate about alternative assets, impact investment, as well as the current FinTech revolution. “I'm driven by innovation and value creation within the realm of finance: ‘connecting capital with innovative minds’ is my mantra.”

Patrick holds a Master of Science in Finance from HEC Lausanne and the Copenhagen Business School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne and McGill University. Patrick is also a CFA Charterholder. Additionally, he was a First Lieutenant and Company Second-in-Command in the Swiss Armed Forces.
