David Evans

David Evans is a Partner in the Sofinnova Crossover Strategy. He joined us in June 2026, bringing over 20 years of experience across clinical development, market access, health economics, and health policy and financing.

Before joining Sofinnova Partners, he was an Investment Director at the Roche Venture Fund. Prior to that, he held a senior role at Roche, where he led the global data sciences team supporting the neuroscience and rare diseases pipeline.

His career also includes roles at Bristol Myers Squibb and Eli Lilly at both global and affiliate levels. Earlier in his career he worked at the World Bank and Médecins Sans Frontières and practised clinical medicine. David holds a medical degree from the University of Sydney and a PhD in clinical epidemiology.
