Elliott Puttock

Elliott joined Sofinnova Partners as an Analyst with the Crossover Strategy team in June 2024.

Before joining Sofinnova Partners, Elliott was at LifeArc, where he worked in Technology Transfer to support the commercialization of academic research. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst at Clarivate, where he specialized in due diligence for Hemato-Oncology projects.

Elliott is excited by “the rapid advances in our understanding of the key drivers of disease. At Sofinnova, we get to see up close the next wave of innovations and work with companies to bring these innovations to market and positively impact human health.”

Elliott has a PhD in Oncology from Barts Cancer Institute in partnership with UCB Pharma, where he specialized in metastatic ovarian cancer and focused on understanding how the tumor extracellular matrix could modulate macrophage phenotype. His research has been published in the journal Nature Communications. He also holds a Master’s in Biochemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Portsmouth.
