Ascendis Pharma A/S (Nasdaq: ASND), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 6,900,000 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) at a price to the public of $18.00 per ADS, which includes the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional ADSs. Ascendis estimates net proceeds from the offering to be approximately $111.5 million, after deducting underwriting commissions and estimated offering expenses.
BofA Merrill Lynch and Leerink Partners LLC acted as joint book‐running managers for the offering. Wells Fargo Securities acted as co‐manager.
