Funding will advance commercialization of KeyPura™ ingredients, customer adoption, and portfolio expansion.
MORRISVILLE, NC — October 26, 2026 — DMC Biotechnologies (DMC), a U.S.-based health ingredient company developing high-purity, science-backed bioactives through precision fermentation, today announced that it has secured $18 M in financing. The financing was co-led by Inceptional Partners and Sofinnova Partners with strong participation from First Bight Ventures, and existing investors Cibus Capital and Capricorn Partners.
The investment will support the next phase of DMC’s growth, accelerating commercialization of its KeyPura™ health ingredients portfolio advancing new development and expanding the company’s reach across the health, wellness, and personal care markets.
Building on the KeyPura™ Ingredient Platform
DMC is advancing a new generation of health and wellness ingredients designed to meet growing demand for purity, consistency, traceability, and reliable supply.
The company’s KeyPura™ portfolio includes myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, two complimentary ingredients with applications across reproductive health, metabolic wellness, infant nutrition and other specialty nutrition formulations.
Produced through precision fermentation technology, KeyPura™ ingredients offer formulators a differentiated approach to ingredient quality and production. The new financing will help DMC expand adoption of these commercial products while advancing additional new bioactive ingredients.
“This investment marks an important next chapter for DMC as we build on the foundation we’ve established with our KeyPura ingredients,” said Jim Flatt, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of DMC Biotechnologies. “We’ve demonstrated our ability to develop and produce high-quality ingredients through precision fermentation. Now we’re focused on translating that capability into broader market adoption, new products and long-term commercial growth”
Accelerating Commercial Growth
With its initial KeyPura™ ingredients in the market, DMC is focused on expanding commercial opportunities, strengthening customer and distribution relationships, and developing additional products that address evolving formulation needs.
The company’s approach combines proprietary biotechnology with a market-driven commercialization strategy, bringing together superior quality ingredients, scalable production and the flexibility to pursue new opportunities across the broader health ingredients market.
“DMC has built a differentiated technology platform with the potential to address meaningful opportunities in the health ingredients market,” said Andras Forgacs, a member of DMC’s Board of Directors and Founder and Managing Partner of Inceptional Partners. “With its initial products established, the company is positioned to build on that foundation and execute its next phase of commercial growth. This investment reflects confidence in the team, the technology and the long-term opportunity.”
DMC expects to direct the new financing toward supporting continued commercialization of its existing portfolio and development of future health and wellness ingredients.
